This image was shot from 100m in the sky looking down at Spencers creek, just below charlottes pass, NSW. As the snow slowly melts away, revealing the grasses and the marshes, the colours that pop out are almost hyperreal and I really wanted to convey that hyperrealism in an image. I wanted to capture this abstraction because not only does it tell a story of the changing of seasons for these alpine creeks, it makes us question how something so unnatural could appear out of nature.
