My name is Flynn Hopkins. I grew up on a farm on a property on the edge of the Tinderry ranges and spent my childhood riding, hiking, kayaking and exploring natural landscapes this region and country have to offer. This was integral in defining the sort of artist I want to be. The Australian landscape would be at the core of my craft. simultaneously, I have become quite involved in the Canberra athletics and cycling community, athletics through my own competition and cycling through my brothers and my work as a bike mechanic. This has now manifested into a new genre of shooting I like to specialise in. I love promoting endurance sport and the athletes involved and will continue to do so as I continue to shoot. I am currently studying Architecture at the University of Canberra and this acts as another way to share my eye for design in practise.
